Suddenly I'm awake
- What is this place? Am I dead or dreaming?
A cold wall meets my hand
Cave full of craniums
No lantern to be found
so I stumble deeper
Cave echoes as I probe
- Is this the place they told me about?
- The place they say one must pass?

Answer hovers back with a morbid stench
- Do you see what it reads there on the corpses?
- Reincarnation
- The same is going to happen to you

I take the final steps
encouraged by a sip from the well of lunacy
for that is surely needed
One final look back and I see the corpses
but now with one more added
- A new light or is it a light at all?
- Walking in the darkness has finally yielded crop,
it echoes back
- Destruction is obligatory in the eyes of change
but the creation depends on yourself
These were its final words I remember
This lair old as our time
revealed to me many things
Some I didn't even want to hear
And what have I learned you ask
Well, this is carved on the cave's wall now:

Dwelling in agony or ecstasy
doesn't bring you wisdom
Understand the polarities
and rise above them

This is where the illumination lies
