It was an answer to some rap song that was out there. They were using Woman to Woman, so Malaco wanted an answer to that song. I said 'let us go and write a real song. Give us time to write a decent song'." Amazingly, as a 7" vinyl single the song charted in May 1995 and reached # 80-r&b.
