Crawling out of my bed
I sit upright and wipe sleep from my eyes, then leave
Falling home as I count the steps I take in my stride
Everything feels right but me
My arms freeze the chill it takes to me
Summer stays inside
I make a face I always seem to make
When nothing is in place I'm fine
The usual light
The trees they often hide me in its shade as I stand still
All on grey skies
These arms will not suffice and neither will my mind on you
My arms freeze the chill it takes to me
Summer stays inside
I make a face I always seem to make
When nothing is in place I'm fine
All on grey skies
These arms will not suffice and neither will my mind on you
I sit upright and wipe sleep from my eyes, then leave
Falling home as I count the steps I take in my stride
Everything feels right but me
My arms freeze the chill it takes to me
Summer stays inside
I make a face I always seem to make
When nothing is in place I'm fine
The usual light
The trees they often hide me in its shade as I stand still
All on grey skies
These arms will not suffice and neither will my mind on you
My arms freeze the chill it takes to me
