walking up a rainbow pining for his name
but he was alone
swollen between dreaming and the ground below
all he ever wanted was some proof he was living
until he dove off a rainbow sentience was a charade
tumbled in a tizzy, circus stomach and awe struck
he steeled his decision, stepping into the hollow
and his body smashed the ground for the first time
and he broke his chest, his legs, his arms and one eye
and with his good eye he looked up at the rainbow
and with a scarlet mouth he laugh, laugh, laughed and choked
rescued by a princess a heathen and a skeleton sky
they took him away, gave him a name adoring his pale nervous frame
he was sewn up

All he ever needed was to show some prudence
and just make up is mind, throw caution into the wind
