MONOLOGUE #1
[C]
[Fmaj7]My little woman causes me a lot of trouble sometimes
[C]she worries me so bad i dont know what to do.
[Fmaj7]I take a walk, figured the rolling of my feet would come to ease my mind. [C]
[Fmaj7] I just go away and wont know where I'm goin [C]
i won't [Fmaj7] know where that i am goin [C] to
[Fmaj7] cause she b***** me, she b***** me
man she'd b***** [C] you
CHORUS
I'm with you in the [Fmaj7]morning baby
till the break of [C] day
I know you won't take my [Fmaj7] heart
you tryin to make me go [C] away
[D7]seem like everybody
got a [Fmaj7] little hard luck some[C]times
[D7]i know one thing for sure [Fmaj7]baby
i've been having [C]mine
[Fmaj7]baby i've been having [C]mine
MONOLOGUE # 2
We had one of them old flea bag apartments
you know what kind i mean:
walk up on the 5th floor there.
Sometimes on a suuny day up on the roof
you can see them flying kites in Washington Square.
I'd go up on the roof and I'd watch her hangin up the clothes and I'd say to em
wash the [Fmaj7] clothes sweedeedee and hang em on the [C]line,
and I can [Fmaj7]see by the way you wash the clothes your cooking must be [C] fine
CHORUS
MONOLOGUE # 3
I remember that old scumbag coffee shop where we used to hang out.
The manager used to let us hang out there with out payin cover,
and I was always asking her sometimes: we have to leave the city.
And i would say to her:
you wash the clothes....
