A Night to Remember
Reminisce, an empty page
Was the only life I knew.
A plotless tale, that would never end
So easy to see through.
Memories I despise
No good ever came
Lucid dreams turn so dark
My anger can't be tamed.
No fellow man at my side
I'm cursed to walk alone
No women here to ease my pain
No memories of home.
The winds
That blew this december
Never felt so cold.
Jet black
A night to remember
End this life so old.
The treacherous moon, that spied down on me
In the corner I lay alone.
Innocence, that I never met
No place I wish to call home.
Stumbling through emotions
Not knowing where to turn
Ignoring my devotions
Sentence them to burn.
Engrave a tombstone
And lay it down for me
Have no prayer said
And allow me to be free.
