People and the thing we do
to satisfy the urges we're all raised into
winning is all but what is actually the race?
it doesn't realy matter, we don't want to lose pace
people always want to take lead
people taking care of individual needs
people in word and deed
people doing anything to fulfil our greed
the bigger the better and the biggest the best
do it for yourself and let the others do the rest
collect the collectable until we have it all
exploit and make the most of it before we fall
envy - the instinct - precedes the impulse
and we easily get eager when our good friend sin calls
you can't save the world all alone you see
so let your ego take care of you undiscriminately

a remedy we need but we won't take the cost
the mags tell us politically correct is out of style today
it's hard to do it right when what you say is a cliche
thus human is a word losing its sense
