[Written by Kent/Nukaga/Niederhoff - December 1997]
The closed mind of my species
Holds me down to force feed me
A way of life I can't conceive.
Why not just let me believe reality?
All our ancestors'
Traditions have lost meaning
Through time.
The human animal
Falls prey to it's own ignorance
And failure to evolve
Beyond the limits of the past.
And now we're trapped
In a rotting pile
Of human misery
And yet we carry on,
Afraid of change.
Our survival depends on our ability
To adapt to any kind of change,
Especially what we've caused ourselves.
With yesterday's solutions, we shall surely perish.
