I can see a dark horizon,
behind me only light.
I can see two paths before me
to my left and to my right,
and it seems I'm facing a corssroad.
The path I choose is final
and the road I take is mine.
If I question every step I take
then I will not survive,
and it seems I'm facing a crossroad...
And I remember what you said to me
the day I caught your eye,
I only want to see you tonight.
In the distance, when I saw you,
I was blinded by your face,
but then you smiled and I was welcome,
your heart was filled with grace,
and I see your eyes at the crossroad.
When I walked, you held my hand.
When I fell, you caught my arm.
When I was drowning, you breathed for me,
you protected me from harm,
and I see your eyes at the crossroad...
And I remember what you said to me
the day I caught your eye,
and I remember how you looked at me
as my storm raged inside.
I only want to see you tonight.
(And I try so hard to find...)
It's been so many years of questions,
a lifetime full of shame,
but beyond the dark horizon
you are calling out my name
and I hear your voice at the crossroad.
I have razed my wall of anger,
I've torn down my wall of fear.
I have silenced all these empty thoughts,
please Lord, please Jesus let me hear,
and I hear your voice at the crossroad...
And I remember what you said to me
the day I caught your eye,
and I remember how you looked at me
as my storm raged inside,
and I remember looking up at you
with your holy light,
I only want to see you tonight.
behind me only light.
I can see two paths before me

and it seems I'm facing a corssroad.
The path I choose is final
