Looking across endless fields of green
In search of the light that was given me
What shows the path and the way to feed
Upon life to fill my needs on distant shores the
Storm has passed and lightning has struck a fire
That lasts unsure of the reasons that still drive
Me mad I move on to tame what was not bad
Look to the sky and realize
What was brought before your eyes
The embers that burn hot inside
Keep the rest of the flames alive
Take and take until there's nothings to take
Everytinhg is lost because what's made
Consume untill the color black is the shade
In the fire pit of life that we all wade
Come now before all has been prophesied
Even the tales of our own demise
Living only takes how hard we try
We can go back and look to the sky!
Foundries of steel in the heavens above
Forging the temper of a fathers love
But the blade that cuts through his glove
Won't bleed us out till we've had enough
