Bees and the birds soar everywhere
Chirping to me about their paradise
Through barbed wires I thought I heard
Bubbles fizzing and clattering ice
I heard people laughing and playing
Joking and hugging if I recall
Hairless and toothless I meet this world
Unable to see well or move at all.
My bird friends all say I"ve changed
Lost my youthful sparkling eyes
Then I point out I"ve got no feathers
Disappointment with this has left me dry
Then they point out my much larger brain
With some practice I could be much the same
Trapped I resort to childish names
This goes on and on for hours
By some fluke I manage to escape
My absence puts an end to the debate
Where has this action gotten me?
