Petah Pan
the houses don't show
the people no more
the streets swallowed the sound
and it's only the stars
that prove that there's life on planet earth
tell me, isn't that weird isn't that strange?
if we all gathered here
we could outnumber them
but that's not what i aim for
that is not what i want
all the simple things were gone
and then the sadness just came along
a wooden block here
a rocking chair there
a broken tire that's not gonna take us anywhere
the birds went to sleep
and so did the people
it's just a few that are left
they are restless and twinkle
up to the sky up to the stars
as if they shared a secret
or had something in common
if we all gathered here
we could outnumber them
but that's not what i aim for
that's not what i want
