Sputnik Lyrics

Russian Voice:
Kogda muzhchina umiraiet
S nim izchezaiet vsio:
Ego pervyi sneg,
ego pervyi pocelui,
ego pervaia draka.[1]
Russian Voice:
And when a man dies
His first snowy spring also dies
And his first kiss, and even his first fight.

Chiisai koro kiita hanashi wo
Ima omoidashiteta
Spuutoniku no raikaken
Namae wa nante ittano kana?
Anata no senaka wo mitsume nagara
Yatto kizuita
Mou aenaitte koto
I was just recalling
A story I heard when I was small
The laika dog on Sputnik [2]
What was it's name again?
While gazing at your back
I finally realized
That I can never see you again

Kurooka kurooka
Boku wa saki ni iku yo
Kurooka kurooka
Kitto kaette kite
Kloka Kloka[3]
I go, ahead of you
Kloka Kloka
Surely come back

Kuroomu iro no kapuseru
Hontoni aishiteru no ni
Nan'no tameni toka
Doushite toka
Kangaerarenai mou
A chrome-coloured capsule
I truly love you yet
I can't think anymore
For what
Or why
Nanokabun no sanso to mizu
Dareka no tsuyoi negai to
Spuutoniku no raikaken
Nidoto akanai tobira ga shimaru
Anata no shiranai tooi basho de
Kurashiteku nante
Onaji kimochi ni narenai nante
With enough air and water for seven days
And someone's strong wishes
The laika dog on Sputnik
Doors which will never again open now close
To think that I must go on living
In a distant place unknown to you
That we can never feel the same emotions

Kuroomu iro no kapuseru
Kon'na ni aishiteru no ni
Mienai yami e to
Ano mabushii toki mo kieru
A chrome-coloured capsule
I love you so much yet
Into an invisible darkness
Even those brilliant times fade away
Kurooka kurooka
Boku wa
Kurooka kurooka
Kitto
Kloka Kloka
I
Kloka Kloka
Surely

Sora kara yami e to
Suikomareteshimau
Mienai yami e to
Atatakatta yuki no hi mo kieteku
From the sky into darkness
Everything is swallowed away
Into an invisible darkness
Even that warm and snowy day goes on fading

Kuroomu iro no kapuseru
Hontoni aishiteru no ni
Nan'no tameni toka
Doushite toka
Kangaerarenai mou
A chrome-coloured capsule
I truly love you yet
I can't think anymore
For what
Or why
